India is now the fourth hotspot for the coronavirus with more than 4 lakhs cases and with an average of 14 thousand new cases each day. With corona cases increasing day by day most of the states extended the lockdown and some are starting to unlock as well.

We are now in Lockdown 5.0 only to find that there is an alarming rate of new corona cases in the country. Amid the rising number of coronavirus cases in Chennai, Tamil Nadu chief minister has announced complete lockdown in the state capital and certain parts of Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur districts between June 19 and 30.

The lockdown was started on the 25th of March almost three months back to curb the growth of corona cases which resulted in the shutdown of the business, shops, transport, and many more services in the country. With effect to that people stayed at home and observed the lockdown while the civic staffs turn out to keep the streets clean. Here’s the view of some of the busiest areas in Chennai that wore a deserted look on during the lockdown.
