Carnatic meets Kattaikkuttu

Chennai will soon witness Karnatic Kattaikkuttu, a fusion of Karnatik music, and Kattaikkuttu at the prestigious Kalakshetra on February 3.
The event marks the first-ever collaboration between two distinct art forms, said organisers.

Noted Kattaikkuttu actor, playwright and director Perungattur P. Rajagopal, his wife Hanne M. de Bruin and the well-known Karnatic musicians T.M. Krishna and Sangeetha Sivakumar have conceptualised the experimental production.
