Canadian PM refused India’s offer of Air India One services

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau finally took off from New Delhi on Tuesday afternoon after the technical issues in his official aircraft were solved. He was seen off at the airport by Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar.

There was a delay of almost 2 days due to a technical snag on the aircraft of Canada. Reports say that India offered the services of Air India One to the Canadian delegation led by PM Justin Trudeau but they chose to wait for the backup aircraft .
During the meeting between Trudeau and PM Modi,  Modi is said to have expressed his concern about anti-India activities in Canada.
It has been reported that the Canadian PM received a backlash at home as they felt that he was scolded and received criticism from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
