Britney Spears announced her engagement to boyfriend Sam Asghari and displayed a diamond ring with the word ”lioness”.
This news came days after her father filed to end the court conservatorship that controlled Britney’s life and finances for 13 years.
Asghari also posted his own photo of Britney showing her ring finger to the camera. The four-carat diamond ring is engraved with the word ”lioness” inside the band as it is his nickname for her.
The couple met on the set of ”Slumber Party” music video in 2016. Britney was earlier married to Kevin Federline and has two sons aged 14 and 15. She was also married to childhood friend Jason Alexander for a short time in 2004.
Spears is allowed to get married but the conservatorship has to approve of all her major life decisions.
