Aryan Khan has been in custody since October 3 in a drugs case filed by the Narcotics Control Bureau. He has not been granted bail so far and his bail plea will be heard by the Bombay High Court next Tuesday.
A special NDPS court rejected the bail petition of Aryan on Wednesday on the ground that Aryan’s friend was found with contraband and Aryan knew about it. While Aryan had no previous antecedents, the court found that his chats proved that he was indulging in illicit drug activities of narcotic substances on a regular basis.
The court rejected the contentions of Aryan’s lawyers that there was nothing to connect Aryan with the others arrested in the case and said that all the accused are connected in the same thread and the role of the accused cannot be isolated from one another.
Shah Rukh Khan visited his son in the Arthur Road Jail this morning. This is the first time that Shah Rukh has been seen in public since his son’s arrest.
