Bill and Melinda Gates, co-founders of one of the world’s largest private charitable foundations filed for divorce. They filed a joint petition in King County Superior Court in Seattle on the ground that the marriage had irretrievably broken. They have reached an agreement on the division of their assets. However, they will work together in their company Microsoft in their existing roles. They have three children and all of them are majors. They have requested the court to approve their division of assets.
They made this decision after giving serious thought on their relationship. They felt that they can no longer grow as a couple and therefore are seeking for space and privacy.
