US President elect Joe Biden and three former US Presidents- Barack Obama, George W Bush and Bill Clinton have all volunteered to take the coronavirus vaccine in public or on camera if it would help to instill public confidence in the minds of the American population. According to infectious diseases expert, Antony Fauci, the coronavirus vaccine is safe to take and it can immunize a person from getting Covid 19.
Former President Barack Obama said that he may end up taking it on television or get it filmed so that people build up trust. Freddy Ford, the chief of staff of former President George W Bush declared that the vaccines need to be administered to the priority population and then Bush would get in line for his dose and take it on camera. Angel Urena, the Secretary for Former President Bill Clinton also informed CNN that Clinton would be ready to get the vaccine in public or on television. Finally Joe Biden in an interview with CNN, declared that he was also willing to get vaccinated in public if the government approved of it. The vaccines developed by Pfizer- BioNTech and Moderna- NIH are expected to be approved by the US authorities shortly. The US hopes to immunize 100 million people by the end of February 2021.
