Sachin assumed a new role as he inaugurated Aster CMI Hospital
It’s not often that Bengalureans get to see the God of Cricket. Especially now that he is retired from the sport. So when Sachin Tendulkar came calling, the crowds in North Bengaluru went berserk trying to glimpse their idol. Dressed nattily in a suit, Sachin assumed a new role as he inaugurated Aster CMI Hospital and went on to reflect on his relationship with the healthcare sector that runs long, thanks to the multiple injuries sustained during his cricketing years. “I would not have been able to serve Indian cricket and chase my dreams but for the support and care of many medical professionals and physiotherapists! Physical fitness and wellbeing is the key and we must each pledge towards a Swasth Bharat,” said the Little Master to a thunderous applause from the audience.
