A cultural and modern musical concert was held in Bengaluru to showcase the glory of Tripura. My Home India, a national NGO which aims at bringing emotional integration of North Eastern Part of India having states from different parts of the country organised a musical concert called Tripura Festival recently at Good Shepherd Auditorium, Bengaluru.
In their noble pursuit to strengthen the ropes of brotherhood between people from North East India and the rest of the country, B.K. Bawri and Sunil Deodhar initiated the concept of “Home away from Home”. The ‘Tripura Festival’ offered cultural performances by Sourabhee Debbarma, first female winner of 4th Indian Idol series and Tithi Debbarma, Classical singer (Rabindra Sangeet). The festival was complemented by a dance performance by Hojagiri from Kenchapur, Live band performance by renowned Oxygen band.
Tripura is one of the seven states of North East India. ‘My Home India’ recently initiated a pilot project aptly named ‘Helpline Tripura’ to give them a helping hand in issues like health, education, livelihood and protection. My India Home has planned to bring all these people of Tripura under one umbrella and to unite them by organizing a mega event named ‘Tripura Festival’.
