They have many things going for them; they like to be their own boss, stay ahead in the game and are already an inspiration for others at such a young age. RITZ meets some of Bengaluru’s most beautiful girls who are making waves not just for their flamboyance and charm, but also for their body of work in their respective fields.

Turning Point: I think it was walking for Lakme Fashion Week. Just after my studies I gave it a shot and that was the turning point. I started doing quite a few assignments right after and that’s when I decided to give modelling a shot.
Motivational force: I have this zest to keep doing better in life. Kingfisher had auditioned me the previous year and that’s why they wanted me this year. I’m sure it must have been a very difficult decision for them since a lot of people aspire to be on the Kingfisher Calendar.
Challenges: The shoot was extremely challenging with respect to the weather conditions. It was pretty cold. Winter had just begun in Croatia and there was wind chill. The waters were freezing and we were in our bikinis. I remember I couldn’t wait to get done and wrap myself up in a blanket!
Position of Power: I’ve walked the ramp for some of the topmost designers. I also did a small role in a Bollywood film recently. There is a fair bit of work and traveling lined up this year and it looks like a good year, but let’s see how much more this year has in store for me!
Bengaluru Matters: Bengaluru has been the place I started my career. And Prasad Bidapa has been the most incredible and encouraging teacher. And by the time I moved into the big world of fashion, I was groomed and confident and prepared to take on anything.
