It was a warm and cerebral launch at the Bangalore Book Festival of a nifty pocket-sized guide to the state ‘Karnatakada Vismayagalu‘. Along with stimulating remarks by chief guests who included eminent litterateurs Prof Chandrashekar Patil and Prof Mallepuram G Venkatesh, India’s fashion guru Prasad Bidapa added a dash of flair to the occasion.

Felicitating Sandhya Mendonca who conceptualised the book were artist Kalyan Rathore, art promoter Deepa Subramaniam, Sumathi Rao, Sushma Balu, Vidya Jois, Sonia Ahuja, Meera Satyaprakash, Veena Jain, Nirmala Nayak and Geeta John.
