Khatija, the eldest daughter of AR Rahman got engaged on the 29th of December, 2021 to Riyasdeen Mohamed Shaik. Khatija announced the news on social media two days ago and posted a picture from the private ceremony.
Khatija wore a beautiful pink ensemble with a matching face mask for the ceremony. She had mehendi done too.
Riyasdeen is an aspiring entrepreneur and an audio engineer. He had collaborated with AR Rahman on many international concerts. He has over 5k followers on Instagram and his profile shows that he has a passion for sound engineering.
Incidentally, the engagement which was a low key affair due to the ongoing pandemic took place on Khatija’s birthday in the presence of family and close friends.
