It was a bit of a shock (in a good way, if you please) to see 28 year old Anupriya Goenka star in Myntra’s latest ad campaign for their in-house brand Anouk, featuring a lesbian couple. Along with Neha Panda, Anupriya, who has starred in Telugu films Potugadu and Paathshala, says she’s always been a supporter of the LGBT issue and adds that she’s been super happy with the response to the add that just goes to prove that today’s Indian youth are pro-homosexuality.
The ad shows Anupriya playing a South Indian girl, speaking to her parents in Tamil and guiding them to her home to meet her partner for the first time.
