Another child falls into a borewell and dies

A 3 year old boy fell into a borewell in Telangana. The well was said to be 120 feet deep. A team of NDRF personnel were pressed into service and they continued the rescue operation overnight.

Oxygen was supplied into the well and earth excavation machines were also employed. However, all these attempts proved futile as they were only able to rescue the body of the child after several hours of rescue operation. Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan expressed her concern over the incident.
