The Kochi Muziris Biennale 2016 pulled down the curtains until the 4th edition!
Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2016, the largest exhibition of contemporary art finally came to a close on 29th March 2017! The grand Finale at Aspinwall, Fort Kochi had esteemed guests like the Mr. A K Balan, Minister for culture and Parliamentary affairs, the Mayor, Soumini Jain, the Collector, Mr. Mohammed Safirulla, Mr. Ramesh Chennithala, leader of Opposition, Mr. Thomas Issac, MP and MLA Hibi Eden to name a few.
The founders of the Biennale, Bose Krishnamachari, Riyas Komu and the curator, Sudarshan Shetty also addressed the gathering. Ms. Anita Dube, the multifaceted writer, historian and contemporary artist has been announced as the curator for Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2018! After the event, they headed to the Durbar Hall ground for a rocking evening celebration with a Thaikkudam Bridge and Opening Act Suraj Mani and The Tattva Trip.
