Singer and actor Andrea Jeremiah feels that the main purpose of education is to create awareness and that it is the greatest weapon to fight corruption, poverty and ignorance. She will be crooning to support a fundraiser for a Skill Development Centre. She will be performing live this evening at Phoenix Market City. She grew up listening to country music and her mainstream pop idols were Mariah Carey,Celine Dion and Whitney Houston. She also listens to jazz and lately to EDM.
She recently composed and sang a number for her latest film Taramani. She said that she enjoys both singing and acting as both are gratifying and that both fields are totally different.
