The first poster of Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund is out. The release date of the film has also been announced. The poster of the film shows a back-shot of Amitabh, who is being lifted in the air by a group of youngsters. Producer Bhushan Kumar shared the poster and the release date on his Twitter account. The film is based on the life of Vijay Barse, founder of NGO Slum Soccer, who rehabilitated street kids by turning them into soccer players.
Amitabh will play the role of Vijay in the film. Marathi director Nagraj Manjule is directing the film. He is known to direct the critically acclaimed film Sairat. Jhund kicked off in November last year. The film is shot in Nagpur, from start to finish. The biographical sports-drama is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Raj Hiremath, and NagrajManjule, under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films and Aatpaa
