They will be working together for the Indian adaptation of ‘The Intern’
Nancy Meyer’s 2015 film, ‘The Intern’ starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro in the lead won a lot of positive reviews when it was released. Now the Indian adaptation of the film is to made with Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. The movie is to be directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and produced by Sunir Kheterpal and Deepika Padukone herself. The Piku actress took to social media to make the happy announcement that she is doing yet another project with Big B. She wrote, “What an absolute honour to be collaborating with one of my most special co-star again!💛 Welcoming @amitabhbachchan to the Indian adaptation of #TheIntern. ” The movie is expected to reach theatres during the summer of 2022.
