Amethyst presents Naushad Ali‘s Fall /Winter 2020 Festive collection for women that explores the nostalgia of romantic Pondicherry. The central theme revolves around the beauty in diversity that is Pondicherry, with the influences from the French, the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, and the indigenous Tamil communities, all of which coexist in perfect harmony.
Silhouette explorations into statement collars and vintage sleeves, midi-length dresses and silk blouses loosely tucked into pleated trousers speak this story in hues of sapphire, midnight, mint, marigold, pink and tan in luxurious hand-woven silks and silk-cottons, and lush velveteens.
