NASA which is the US space agency has scrapped the planned historic space walk by two women astronauts due to non availability of space suits that would fit them the International Space Station. Christina Koch will now perform tasks in space with fellow American Nick Hague instead of Anne McLean as planned originally. If the plan had materialized, it would have been the first ever space walk by two women astronauts. Until now, male only or mixed male female teams had conducted space works.

There have been 214 spaceworks till date since the Space Station was assembled in 1998. Space suits aboard  the ISS are assemblies of several parts put together as best adapted to each astronauts body and are available in three sizes medium, large and extra large.
