Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has served a defamation notice on YouTuber Siddiqui from Bihar for making false and baseless allegations against him in his YouTube channel. He has claimed a compensation of Rs 500 crores, an unconditional apology and removal of the objectionable content from the channel.
Siddiqui had made certain allegations about Akshay Kumar that he helped Rhea Chakraborty to abscond to Canada and that he held secret meetings with Maharashtra Chief Minister and the Maharashtra Police Commissioner regarding Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. The notice rubbished the reports as a cheap publicity stunt and said that if Siddiqui did not respond to it within 3 days, legal action would be initiated against him. Meanwhile the Mumbai police have also filed a separate defamation case against Siddiqui on grounds of public mischief and causing intentional insult to Maharashtra Chief Minister and the Maharashtra Police department.
