The airfares for domestic travel has nosedived across the country due to the coronavirus scare. Hundreds of passengers are cancelling their travel plans. Flights have never been this cheap before.
A flight ticket to Bengaluru costs just Rs 1000. A ticket to New Delhi is around Rs 3000- 3500/ and to Hyderabad it costs around Rs 1200-1500/. Most people are not taking any risks. They want to stay safe. Many companies are also asking their staff not to travel. Peak hour fares have also gone down now as there is hardly any demand. Many airlines are cancelling flights on several days as there are barely any passengers. In fact there are cancellations to certain destinations on a daily basis as people are too scared to travel due to the coronavirus scare.
