American actress Spencer Grammer was trying to calm an agitated man outside a New York restaurant when he ended up slashing her in the arm and her friend in the back. The incident occurred when Grammar and her friend were sitting at an outside table at the Black Ant in Manhattan’s East Village Neighborhood around 11.30 pm on Friday night when a man ambled up and demanded to be served just at the time when the restaurant was closing for the day.
Grammer and her friend tried to intervene and pacify the man when he attacked them with a sharp object and fled from there. Luckily they did not suffer any internal injuries. They are being treated at a hospital and are expected to recover quickly. No arrests have been made so far.
