“If Training an Artist is an Art, then Venkat Prabhu sir is a master in it…” says Sana Althaf of ‘Chennai 28 – II’
There is always a very special bonding between the ‘God’s own country’ – Kerala and Tamil Cinema. Right from the ‘Queen Bee’ Nayanthara to the recent Manjima Mohan, most of the female leads are hailed from Kerala. Here comes the ‘Bold Beauty’, Karate Black Belt, 17 yrs old Sana Althaf, who is all set to add in that list through the upcoming ‘friendship band’, ‘Chennai – 28 – II’. While the film is Directed and Produced by Venkat Prabhu under the banner ‘Black Ticket Company’, the background scores and songs for the second innings are composed by Yuvanshankar Raja.
“I was not in touch with acting for the past few months because of my Board Exams. It was Venkat Prabhu sir one who given me courage and brought me back to acting. My character name is Anuradha and I play opposite to Jai. Apart from being glamorous, my role has a very deep connection with the story plot. Initially I was struggling with Tamil language, but with the great support of Venkat Prabhu sir, it turned out slightly easy for me. If Training an Artist is an Art, then Venkat Prabhu sir is a master in it…I am pretty sure that the second innings of Chennai 28 will be my best film to step into Tamil Film industry…” says the ‘Bold Beauty’ Sana Althaf confidently.
