Superstar Rajinikanth underwent a Carotid Artery revascularization procedure in a private hospital in Chennai yesterday. He is likely to be discharged from hospital in a few days.
He was hospitalized on Thursday after he experienced a bout of giddiness. He was admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Alwarpet where he was thoroughly evaluated by an expert panel of doctors and was advised to undergo Carotid Artery revascularization. Accordingly, the procedure was performed successfully and Rajinikanth is said to be doing well. He will be discharged from the hospital in a few days.
Just a few days ago, he received the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award in New Delhi. He is said to have visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as President Ram Nath Kovind during his visit to New Delhi.
