Suresh Gopi is recuperating after treatment for Pneumonia
The actor turned MP had been admitted at a private hospital in Kochi after he was diagnosed with Pneumonia. He was shooting for his upcoming film Pappan when he fell sick. He had earlier taken to social media to express his joy and excitement in being a part of the film. He wrote, “Paappan starts rolling! My next film with master craftsman #Joshiy, written by @rjshaan. The actor who is also a member of the Parliament representing the BJP wasn’t keen on contesting the elections this year but he confirmed that the Prime Minister had expressed his wish that he contest from Thrissur. His health is stable now but he has to recover completely before he can start his political campaign. Addressing reporters, he said, “I need rest and I will start the political campaign after the Covid vaccination. But first, I need to get back to health. I am still not keen on contesting, but am merely following what the party has asked me to do…The Prime Minister wishes that I contest from Thrissur. I can’t predict my victory at this juncture.”
