The Lalit Ashok, Bengaluru hosted its annual Christmas cake-mixing ceremony, with city’s food connoisseurs participating in the bonhomie. With so many hands in gloves mixing all the apricots, walnuts, almonds, cashewnuts, figs and peels, raisins, cherries, spices with rum, wine and whiskey, it seemed like one heady concoction. This will be left to soak for the next few weeks, post which the plum cakes will be baked for Christmas. Guests were spotted indulging in some knick-knacks and desserts after the cake-mixing.
