The music maestro is doing a Malayalam project after over two decades
The Fahadh Faasil starrer Malayankunju seems to have the audience waiting for its release for all the right reasons. From being produced and directed by ace director Faasil to the lead being played by his son Fahadh Faasil and now the music score being done by none other than A R Rahman, it is an entertainer to look out for.
Faasil reveals that it was his son, Fahadh who wanted the film to be a musical and he decided to rope in A R Rahman after the shoot of the movie. Though the music maestro’s last Mollywood outing was for Yoddha in 1992. Though he was supposed to work with Faasil years ago, the opportunity was lost as the film had to be shelved. Now it has all fallen into place and the film is expected to release in February 2022. Rahman will also be doing music for the Prithviraj starrer Aadujeevitham.
