Sonam Kapoor feels there is a lot of uneven ground for women. Speaking at an event of the Indian Merchants Chamber’s Ladies’ Wing, Sonam said the society in general has largely been patriarchal and women have had to go through a lot of obstacles as they are constantly scanned for their appearances and their personal lives.
She stressed that women are the foundation of society and empowering them will help to make a better society and a better India.
