As the Premam clocked five years today, Nivin Pauly reminisced about the blockbuster hit. Nivin took to his social media handle to remember the movie on its fifth year of release.
Premam showed the love affairs of George (Nivin Pauly) from his pre-degree days to adulthood. It was a perfect portrayal of three stages in man’s life. George, the college student developing an infatuation for his professor Malar (Sai Pallavi) won the hearts of the audience, gradually developing a Malar wave amongst youngsters. All the songs especially ‘Malare’, from the movie became favourites in the playlist of music lovers. Premam helped the lead stars, Nivin Pauly, Anupama Parameswaran, Madonna Sebastian, and Sai Pallavi to rise into stardom. The film was critically acclaimed and made a huge success in the box office and was remade in other languages too.
