Putham Pudhu Kaalai comprises five short films, helmed by Sudha Kongara, Gautham Menon, Suhasini Mani Ratman, Rajiv Menon, and Karthik Subbaraj.
Amazon Prime Video announced its original upcoming Tamil movie titled Putham Pudhu Kaalai. “It is an anthology of five short films featuring the first of its kind stories of love, new beginnings, second chances, and a glimmer of hope,” read a statement released by the streaming platform.

The five stories are set in the backdrop of the COVID-19 lockdown. And Amazon Prime Video has mentioned that the movie was shot in compliance with COVID-19 rules and regulations set by the Film Employees’ Federation of South India (FEFSI).
Putham Pudhu Kaalai will release on Amazon Prime Video on October 16.
