On behave of “International women’s day” Bessi beach was crowded with women’s getting ready for Walkathon about 900 meters on March 8th. The crowd representing “Wonder Women Power Walk” program based on hygiene and health. The wonderful event happens on the very right day. The occasion started at 8 A. M at Bessie.
Around 30 women participated in a walkathon. The event sounds about awareness of sanitation and usage of sanitary napkins. GEO India foundation took a great lifetime commitment of supplying sanitary napkins for underprivileged children along with dispensers. Ten lakhs sanitary napkins are targeted to reach underprivileged children.
Around twenty thousand sanitary napkins are distributed among school children as an initiative on this women’s day. The government schools are provided with the closet of sanitary napkins and dispensers. The closet will be refilled every month in the respective schools. The launching ceremony happened at the same place.
